Potomac Basin Precipitation Monitoring

This map displays precipitation totals from the previous day (calculated from midnight to midnight). Cumulative daily values are averaged by Potomac basin sub-watershed and computed by CO-OP's Low Flow Forecast System based on gridded multi-sensor precipitation estimates provided by the Middle Atlantic River Forecast Center. Additionally, the map provides forecasted precipitation values for the next 24 hours, 72 hours, and 7 days, presented as cumulative daily values starting from the date generated.
